City Of Derry Golf Club

Nestled on the banks of the picturesque River Foyle and overlooking the stunning Donegal hills, the City of Derry Golf Club offers a truly idyllic golfing experience. Situated in the Historic Walled City of Derry, the Club was established in 1912 and has since then been an integral part of the local community.

The mature, 18-hole parkland course is a challenging test for even the most experienced golfers, with accuracy being the key to scoring well. The high-quality greens demand precise shots and strategic thinking to navigate the course. The Prehen course is designed by the renowned Eddie Hackett and offers a great variety of challenges. It features lush green fairways that wind their way through mature woodland, providing a scenic and enjoyable round of golf for players of all standards.

The Club also boasts a fine nine-hole parkland course, which offers a unique set of challenges and stunning views over the Foyle Valley. The course has five par fours that will put your golfing skills to the test. Golfers can warm up on the practice area or practice their putting on the putting green before heading out onto the course.

The Club warmly welcomes societies and visitors, and the rates are very competitive. For those who require assistance, the Club has four buggies available to be booked in advance. There are no handicap or certificate requirements to play on either course.

The Club is open for play every day of the week, making it the perfect destination for a round of golf during your visit to Derry. Whether you're a seasoned golfer or a beginner, the City of Derry Golf Club offers a memorable golfing experience that you won't forget. Don't miss out on the opportunity to play on one of the most picturesque courses in the north of Ireland.
