Embark on a thrilling hike to the top of the Sliabh Liag (Slieve League) cliffs, located on the southwest coast of County Donegal, and be amazed by the stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean, Sligo Mountains, and Donegal Bay. These cliffs are truly extraordinary, offering some of the most breathtaking sea cliff vistas in Europe.

To fully experience the beauty of Sliabh Liag, it is recommended to leave your car at the car park and walk to the cliffs. For over a millennium, people have made a Christian pilgrimage to these sacred mountains to appreciate their cultural heritage.

The cliff face of Bunglas towers over 600 meters above the raging ocean, making it a truly awe-inspiring sight. However, only experienced walkers should venture beyond the viewing point onto One Man's Pass, which loops around the Pilgrim's Path.

For a different perspective, book a boat trip from nearby Teelin Harbour to the base of the majestic sea cliffs, where you can hear local legends and colorful stories from the skipper. If you're lucky, you may even get to swim with the local pod of dolphins or spot basking sharks if you visit in May or June.

To learn more about the history and culture of this magical place, visit the Slieve League Cliffs Centre, where children can engage in interactive play and discover the story of Slieve League. Local culture and the epic cliffs' history are also showcased here, providing visitors with a warm Donegal welcome.
