Portadown Golf Club

For over a century, Portadown Golf Club has been nestled in the heart of Orchard County, offering a stunning 18-hole, Par 70 mature parkland course set amidst a partial woodland landscape. Located just 2 miles from Portadown and 20 miles from Belfast via the M1, the Clubhouse was officially opened by Fred Daly and provides a warm welcome to players and visitors alike.

The course, designed by Mr. Wilson and Mr. Jameson, with additional features added by Mr. Sidney Jones, Dr. Dobson, and Jim Irvine, presents a challenge for golfers of all levels. The course spans a total of 6,018 yards, with each hole offering a unique test of skill and ability. One standout hole is the 9th, where players must drive over the River Bann, adding an extra level of excitement to the game.

After a day on the course, players and visitors can enjoy the breathtaking views over the course from The Riverside Restaurant. The clubhouse offers a well-deserved sanctuary where guests can indulge in fine wines and delicious food while recounting their game experiences.
