Massereene Golf Club, established in 1895, is a parkland course that has been attracting golfers from all over the world for more than a century. Located in Northern Ireland, this course is known for its impeccable design and breathtaking views over Lough Neagh. The course has hosted numerous prestigious events, including the LGU 2014 British Girls Amateur Open and the 2019 ISPS Handa World Invitational alongside Galgorm Castle Golf Club.

This innovative event, which was transformed into a new global event for men and women professionals in 2019, saw men and women playing the same golf courses, at the same time, and competing for equal prize money. This progressive move was made possible when ISPA HANDA and long-time partners of the NI Open, Modest! Golf, engaged with organizers and bought into the long-term vision for this unique event. Massereene Golf Club proved themselves amongst the select in Northern Ireland when they co-hosted the NI Open in conjunction with Galgorm Castle Golf Club in 2019.

The course is 6603 yards off the championship tees, and even the scratch golfer will be tested. It is popular with societies and lady golfers alike. The course designer, Fred Hawtree, has done an excellent job of creating a challenging yet enjoyable course for all levels of golfers. The clubhouse provides excellent catering and bar facilities where golfers can relax and take in the views of Lough Neagh and the latter few holes of the course.

Massereene Golf Club offers buggy and trolley hire, and the best days to play are any day except Saturdays, where there are restrictions until 14.00. The SSS is 72, and the par of the course is 72. There are no handicap or certificate requirements, making it accessible to golfers of all abilities.
