Dunmurry Golf Club

Dunmurry Golf Club, originally located north of Dunmurry village, made a significant move to its current site in 1983. The club now overlooks the picturesque River Lagan and is adjacent to Sir Thomas and Lady Dixon Park. The stunning views up the Lagan valley to the south and north towards the Belfast hills make this course one of the most scenic in the area. The course is situated within the Lagan Valley Regional Park, and the woodlands that surround it have contributed to its rapid maturity.

Dunmurry Golf Club offers some of the best playing conditions in the Belfast area, with 18 holes that provide a variety of challenges for golfers of all levels. The course's par 5 fourth hole is particularly challenging, requiring three accurate shots to reach an elevated, double-tiered green that is well protected by mature trees.

The golf club employs a professional who is available to provide guidance and support to members and visitors. Golfers can enjoy playing on the course on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. The Standard Scratch Score (SSS) of the course is 69, with a length of 6,156 yards and a par of 70. Tom McAuley, a renowned course designer, designed the Dunmurry course to provide golfers with a unique and challenging experience.

At Dunmurry Golf Club, no handicap or certificate requirements are necessary to enjoy a game on the course. Whether you are a seasoned golfer or just starting, you will find Dunmurry to be a welcoming and challenging course to play.
