Gortin Glen Forest Park is a beautiful woodland located just six miles from Omagh, Co Tyrone at the western gateway to the Sperrin Mountains. The forest park features a network of five waymarked trails of varying lengths that start from the Trailhead close to the main car park. Each trail is color-coded and returns back to the car park, allowing visitors to enjoy the woodland and stunning views of the Sperrin Mountains.

In addition to the trails, the forest park also features a large destination play park, trim trail, BBQ, picnic area, and toilets. The park is also part of the Ulster Way Walking Route, also known as the International Appalachian Trail, Irish Section.

Visitors can explore the forest park via a five-mile scenic drive, which has several vista parks where vehicles can pull in and enjoy the magnificent scenery. For those who prefer biking, there is an on-site bike uplift and hire service available at Campbase Adventures.

A cafe operation is available at weekends in low season and daily during the summer at facebook.com/Briesbaristabar. Gortin Glen Forest Park is an ideal destination for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts looking for a peaceful and scenic escape.
