Located just 11km west of Manorhamilton in County Leitrim, the breathtaking Glencar Waterfall stands at an impressive 15 meters high and is situated near Glencar Lake.

This iconic Leitrim landmark is said to have inspired the great poet William Butler Yeats, who famously mentioned it in his poem "The Stolen Child".

A wooded walk offers visitors a lovely view of the waterfall, which is particularly impressive after rainfall. While there are other waterfalls visible from the road, none are quite as romantic and enchanting as Glencar. The site also includes convenient facilities such as a car park, picnic area, public toilets, playground, tea room, and a Tourist Information Point.

A visit to Glencar Waterfall promises to be a memorable and picturesque experience.
