Aberdelghy Golf Course

Aberdelghy Golf Course, situated in the heart of Lambeg just outside Lisburn City Centre, is a relatively new 18-hole parkland course that has quickly become one of the best courses in the area since its establishment in 1988. The course is conveniently located only five minutes from Lisburn City Centre, just off the main Lisburn to Belfast Road.

Designed by Greg Ferris, the course provides an excellent test of golf for both novice and experienced players, with many spectacular holes across tight, tree-lined fairways and challenging water features. The emphasis is on accuracy rather than distance, and the course offers an enjoyable and fair golfing experience.

Originally, the course had only nine holes, but in 2010, renowned golf course designer David Jones was contracted to redesign and upgrade the new nine holes. This has transformed the course into one of the best in the area, attracting golfers from all over Northern Ireland and beyond.

Aberdelghy Golf Course is a welcoming club, and visitors of all levels are welcome. No handicap or certificate requirements are necessary, making it an excellent choice for golfers of all skill levels. The course professional is available for lessons and there is an on-site Golf Shop that stocks an extensive range of golfing equipment and clothes, as well as a service and repair centre for all your golfing needs.

The course boasts a par of 66, with a length of 4,552 yards, and a SSS of 62. The best days to play are Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. With its challenging yet fair design, beautiful parkland setting, and convenient location, Aberdelghy Golf Course is a must-play for any golfer visiting the area.
