European Club

The European Club, located south of Dublin, is a stunning links course that tumbles through 200 acres of sand dunes on the Irish Sea. The course is ranked in the world top-100 courses by Golf (USA) and others, and it holds the links record of 67, set by none other than Tiger Woods.

Holes seven, 13, and 14 are ranked amongst the 500 greatest holes in the world, and the course features design elements such as the world's longest green (128yd) at the 12th and very deep bunkers lined with railway sleepers for maximum definition and intimidation.

In 2007 and 2008, the European Club hosted the Irish Professional Championship in the week before the British Open to prepare Padraig Harrington for the latter event, which he went on to win both years.
