Located just a short drive from the town of Killarney in County Kerry, the Killarney Golf Club is a member's club at heart, with a proud history that dates back to its inception in 1893. With two 18-hole championship courses and a 9-hole golf course, it is an ideal destination for golf enthusiasts looking for a challenging and memorable experience.

The Killeen course is considered the flagship course of the club, offering faster greens that have been brought closer to the water hazards around the course, while the Mahony's Point course is the most scenic and friendly of the three, offering a challenge to golfers of all standards.

The Academy Course is a 9-hole, classic par 36 course that offers a variety of tee boxes for all skill levels and is a popular choice for golfers looking for a quick round of golf. An interesting challenge on all three courses are the ever-present Red Deer, Ireland's native deer, which add a unique experience for visitors and members alike.

The club's facilities include a driving and practice range with indoor and outdoor driving bays, as well as a large putting green, chipping greens, pitching greens, and practice bunkers, providing an ideal place to sharpen your game. The club also offers experienced PGA Professional, Mark Heinemann, who is available for private or group lessons, with coaching programs for golfers of all abilities.

After an exhilarating round of golf, visitors can retreat to the comfort of the clubhouse and enjoy modern Irish cuisine served in a casual setting at The Horseshoe Bar & Restaurant. In terms of course details, Killarney Golf & Fishing Club offers a total of 54 holes, with all courses being par 72. The total distance for each course is as follows: Killeen - 6,593 meters, Mahony's Point - 6,164 meters, and Lackabane - 2,995 meters. Club hire is available for those who do not have their own equipment.
