Fintona Golf Club

Established in 1904, Fintona Golf Club is a stunning parkland 9-hole course located on the edge of the village, providing a convenient location for locals and visitors alike. It was featured in Ronan Rafferty's Great Golf Journeys on UTV, where it was ranked as the best nine-hole course in the province, a recognition that few locals would argue with.

The course measures 6310 yards with a par of 72 and a standard scratch of 70. All nine holes have twin tees, providing players with a different challenge the second time round. The trout stream, locally known as "the quiggery," meanders through the course, intruding on eight holes, making it almost impossible to play here without encountering it. The trees on the course are magnificent and complement the picture-postcard setting, making it an enjoyable experience for all who play here.

In 1997, a brand new clubhouse was built, and catering for groups can be organized by appointment. There are also stay and play offers available for golfers looking to have a memorable golfing getaway.

Fintona Golf Club welcomes visitors, and there are no handicap or certificate requirements, making it an ideal destination for golfers of all skill levels. Many of the holes have different tees the second time around, making the round more interesting and challenging.

So, come and enjoy a warm welcome, a pleasant round of golf, and a friendly reception in the bar afterward at Fintona Golf Club. Contact the Club to find out the best days to play and book your tee time today.
