Lough Boora Discovery Park – Fairy Trail
Lough Boora Discovery Park in County Offaly offers a family-friendly landscape full of biodiversity, art, and archaeology, with options for walking, cycling, and an outdoor sculpture park, Mesolithic settlement, and fairy trail with cycle links to the Grand Canal.
Children can let their imagination run wild and explore the Lough Boora Fairy Avenue, a 1.5km network of trails within the forest. The trail is home to 14 resident fairies, fairy doors, wishing chairs, and wishing stones, with fairy circles and toadstools along the way. The trail usually takes families about 90 minutes to complete and has exit points at the giant bog root and on the path to the Mesolithic settlement.
